Privacy

No trackers, no pixels, no profile. Here is the short list of what an order actually needs from you.

Section 1

The short version

There is almost nothing to tell you, and that is the point.

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no Facebook or Google trackers, and no third-party cookies. Nobody is following you around the internet because you looked at a can cover. The only personal information that exists is what you type in to buy something โ€” and Stripe, not this site, is what holds it.

Section 2

What is actually collected

Only what an order physically cannot happen without.

Your card number is never collected by this site. Payment happens on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Ruthless Ideas LLC never sees your card details at any point.

Section 3

Where it lives

In Stripe. Not in a database here.

Order information is stored in Stripe, the payment processor, and is read from Stripe when an order needs to be packed or shipped. There is no separate customer database on this site collecting profiles. Stripe is a PCI-compliant payment processor and has its own privacy policy governing what it holds.

Your information is shared with exactly two kinds of outside party: Stripe, to take the payment, and the shipping carrier, to deliver the parcel. That is the entire list.

Section 4

What is never done with it

Stated as promises, so you can hold us to them.

Section 5

How long it is kept, and getting it removed

Ask, and it goes.

Order records are kept as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle a warranty claim (30 days from delivery), and satisfy tax and accounting requirements โ€” which in the United States generally means several years for records of a sale.

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing auston.ruth@gmail.com. You will get a real reply from a person. Deletion requests are honoured except where a record must be kept for tax or legal reasons, and if that applies you will be told which record and why.

Section 6

Children

This is not a product or a site for kids.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. The product itself is a small part and a choking hazard, and should be kept away from young children entirely โ€” see the product disclosure.

Section 7

Changes, and how to reach us

The date at the top is the whole version history you need.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Anything that would meaningfully reduce your privacy would be a change worth telling buyers about directly, not one slipped into a page nobody reads.
